TERMS OF SERVICE
This site (“Site”) is owned and operated by StudentHousingEU LLC (referred to herein as “StudentHousingEU,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). StudentHousingEU, a.k.a. we the Student Housing Educated Union, is committed to providing study abroad students with verified safe and affordable housing across the world. We strive to provide students with true transparency of the study abroad experience to ensure students truly have an incredible experience. Our database of recommendations to markets, restaurants, grocery stores, gyms, festivals, sporting events, parades, and more are all compiled from locals and past study abroad students. StudentHousingEU does not identify as a real estate agency or real estate broker nor a realtor. StudentHousingEU is a service that provides a connection between study abroad students and verified apartment landlords across the world.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
Neither the Service Provider, the Landlord, our representatives, consultants, employees, officers, directors, agents and affiliates (collectively the “Released Parties”), will be liable for Tenant or any of Tenant’s guests for injury, damage, or loss to person or property caused by criminal conduct of other persons, including theft, burglary, assault, vandalism, or other crimes or your personal conflict with your roommates. The Released Parties shall not be liable to Tenant or Tenant’s guests for any personal injury or damage or loss to property from fire, flood, water leaks, rain, hail, ice, snow, smoke, lightning, wind, explosion, earthquake, interruption of utilities, or other force majeure. Tenant acknowledges that Landlord and Service Provider does not carry insurance to cover Tenant’s personal property, possessions, perishable goods or personal liability. Tenant acknowledges that property or professional liability insurance maintained by Landlord and/or Service Provider may not protect Tenant against personal injury, loss or damage to Tenant’s personal property or belongings, or to cover Tenant from Tenant’s own liability from injury, loss or damage from fire or other negligent acts Tenant (or Tenant Occupant’s or Guests) may cause others. Tenant acknowledges they are not considered a co-insured of the Landlord or Service Provider and not protected under Landlord’s fire insurance. Tenant also acknowledges that by not maintaining a policy of personal liability insurance, Tenant may be liable to others, including, Landlord, for loss or damage from fire or other negligent acts caused by the actions of Tenant or any of Tenant’s occupants or guests. Service Provider and Landlord recommend Tenant purchases Student Travel Accident Insurance.
LEASE APPLICATION PROCESSPrior to paying the booking fee and checking out, you must complete and submit:

2 Forms of ID - Driver License, Student University ID, Passport all accepted.

Proof of sufficient bank account funds to cover rent and living expenses for the lease term.

StudentHousingEU will not discriminate against any person because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, disability, or any other specific classes protected by applicable laws. StudentHousingEU will allow any reasonable accommodation or reasonable modification based upon a disability-related need. The person requesting any reasonable modification may be responsible for the related expenses.
OUR ULTIMATE GOAL: To provide future study abroad students with the best possible study abroad experience. Formed by previous study abroad students, we want to provide students with a better future experience. In addition to providing the best possible housing for study abroad students, StudentHousingEU strives to be an educator.
